This panorama of the newly renovated Husky Stadium, taken by Christopher Gjevre, spotlights the season-opening matchup between the University of Washington Huskies and the Boise State Broncos. Fans attending this sold-out game and the Return to Montlake, experienced first-hand many of the $250 million stadium updates. The much anticipated renovations include premium and patio suites, permanent east end zone seating, reconstruction of the lower bowl and south side stands, optimized sightlines, a new parking garage and a huge purple and gold “W” facing the water on the east side. Washington and Boise State have only played once before, in a win over the Broncos in 2007 at Husky Stadium.
Over the years the Washington Huskies have won 15 Pacific-10 Conference Championships and 7 Rose Bowl Titles, and can lay claim to 4 National Championships.
Posters are not available unframed. The print images on our website don't do justice to the actual finished piece that you will receive. Why?
