This panorama, photographed by Christopher Gjevre, spotlights the Chicago Blackhawks 3-2 victory over the Boston Bruins in Game 6 of the 2013 Stanley Cup Final on June 24, 2013. The organizationâs fifth championship is the culmination of their Presidentsâ Trophy-winning season, which opened with an NHL-record 24-game point streak and led to a Western Conference title and, ultimately, a 4-2 series win. The matchup was the first time the two storied teams have faced off in the postseason since the 1978 Quarterfinals. Chicagoâs win marks the tenth time an Original Six team has been crowned champion since 1979, the last time two Original Six teams faced off in a Final series.
