This panorama captured the Buffalo Sabres as they host Atlantic Division rival Detroit Redwings® in the newly renamed KeyBank Center. This multi-purpose arena, located in downtown Buffalo, is the largest indoor arena in Western New York with a seating capacity of 19,070. The Sabres were one of two expansion teams during the NHL's® second expansion wave which brought the league to 14 teams for the 1970-71 season. Since that time, the team has always been surrounded and supported by a passionate fan base, as evidence by the crowd in attendance at this game.
